The first thing you do when you get home:
“Hey, Harry, you wanna go see a movie with me and Eleanor?” Louis asked, grabbing his coat off the hanger and hurriedly sliding his arms into the sleeves. Harry sighed and averted his gaze, then folded his hands and twiddled his thumbs for a moment.
“No, I’m fine,” he said, his tone low with sadness. He looked over his shoulder at Louis’ shoes, then up to his face. “Go without me.”
Louis nodded and was out the door in an instant. Harry turned back and whimpered, falling forward on to the couch. He turned on the television and pulled a blanket up over his head, his curls flattened against the cushion. His second sigh was shakier than the first. Harry blinked back tears, covering his face with his hands, knuckles white from the death grip he had on the pillow he was holding. He couldn’t decide if he was angry or hurt.
“I just want my best friend back,” he murmured, bringing his knees up to his chest.
